The International Student Olympiad “Followers of Avicenna V”, held on March 25, was attended by 3,000 students from 75 higher educational institutions of the republic and foreign countries, in particular India, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. The students took part in more than 30 basic and clinical subjects. Head of the Department of Neurology and Medical Psychology, Professor G.S. Rakhimbayeva wished the students good luck at the Olympiad. Professor M.M. Yakubova introduced the participants to the rules of the Olympiad. The students competed in 3 stages. All participants were selflessly and honestly checked by the jury members. As a result, the students who scored the most points in all three stages won the main prizes. During the Olympiad, students who demonstrated their knowledge, enthusiasm and intelligence were rewarded in various categories.
