On the initiative of the Tashkent Medical Academy, an international scientific and practical conference on “Modern approaches to the diagnosis and targeted therapy of epilepsy” was held on April 25-26 this year. The conference provides for educational lectures by leading neurologists, medical geneticists, pediatricians from Uzbekistan, France, England, Italy, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Russia, and Kazakhstan.
The main purpose of organizing this scientific and practical conference is to further improve the provision of medical, genetic and neurological care to the population that meets the requirements of the time, expand the types of specialized care, improve its quality and increase its effectiveness, and exchange experience between leading experts from around the world in the field of epileptology.
